Clause 4 was amended

(a) by deleting words "on result of enquiry"

in paragraph (e) and

(b) by substituting following paragraph

for paragraph (g):- (g) Has been convicted by a competant court outside the Colony of an offence which, if committed in the Colony, would constitute any of the offences specified in the First Schedule to the Chinese Extradition Ordinance 1889;
